Manage permissions as a web visitor

Visitors control automated service, human updates and automatic case creation separately.

Who this is for

Web-channel visitor; installed widget or hosted link for the same assistant, without access to the administrator dashboard.

Before you start

The business must make this assistant and its channel available. As a visitor or customer, retain the access and permissions needed for this purpose; no administrator account is required.

Steps

  1. Open the widget or hosted-link menu.
  2. Grant or withdraw automated-service permission and check the updated state.
  3. If a previous human-updates or cases permission appears, you can withdraw it separately.

Result

Visitors control automated service, human updates and automatic case creation separately.

Limits and conditions

Authorizing AI does not grant other purposes. Cases is disabled and is not offered as a registration flow. Withdrawing automated service prevents new automated replies; retaining an earlier permission does not enable disabled features.

If you cannot continue

Check the reported status and blockers; refresh uncertain results before repeating an operation.
