Restrict the widget domain

Optionally restrict installation to a declared domain.

Who this is for

Administrator; web-channel assistant. Manages the widget and hosted link for that same assistant.

Before you start

Select an assistant you own on the relevant channel; permissions and capacity must remain valid.

Steps

  1. Open Assistant → Installation.
  2. Enter or update the allowed domain and save.
  3. Check the widget from that website.

Result

Optionally restrict installation to a declared domain.

Limits and conditions

Declaring a domain does not import website content. Changes apply on the server without reinstalling the script; the hosted link retains its separate purpose.

If you cannot continue

Check the reported status and blockers; refresh uncertain results before repeating an operation.
