Check source status

See whether a source is processing, waiting or ready to use.

Who this is for

Sources for the selected web assistant. Content is isolated by assistant; capacity is shared across all assistants in the account.

Before you start

Select the right assistant. Complete initial web setup. Save or discard pending Information/Appearance changes before proceeding.

Steps

  1. Open Assistant → Sources. Each type has its own list.
  2. Check the short status; it updates automatically during processing.
  3. If an error appears, read the explanation and choose Retry when available. For PDFs, select the file again.

Result

Ready to answer appears only after all preparation is complete. Updating keeps the previous version. Waiting means a required service is unavailable.

Limits and conditions

Used and Reserved show account-wide capacity. A new source being processed reserves a slot; updating a published source does not reserve another. If status cannot be read, cached success is not shown as confirmed.

Free has ten slots, including active sources and reservations. New sources are blocked when all slots are taken; published sources can still be updated. Another source is never removed automatically.

If you cannot continue

Read the error. If an action was not confirmed because of a connection problem, retry with the same content instead of creating another source. A failed or cancelled new source releases its reservation.
