Cancel source processing

Stop a pending upload or preparation from the source menu.

Who this is for

Sources for the selected web assistant. Content is isolated by assistant; capacity is shared across all assistants in the account.

Before you start

Select the right assistant. Complete initial web setup. Save or discard pending Information/Appearance changes before proceeding.

Steps

  1. Find the processing source in Assistant → Sources.
  2. Open its actions menu and select Cancel processing.
  3. Wait for its status to confirm cancellation.

Result

The pending revision is not activated and a new source releases its reserved slot. If a published source was being updated, its previous version remains available.

Limits and conditions

You can only cancel while work is pending. To stop using an available source, use Delete source. Free has ten slots and paid has sixty, counting sources in use and reservations across the account. Updating a published source does not use another slot.

If you cannot continue

Read the error. If an action was not confirmed because of a connection problem, retry with the same content instead of creating another source. A failed or cancelled new source releases its reservation.
