Rename an assistant

Change the administrative name used to identify it in the panel.

Who this is for

Account administrator; Teams and web or WhatsApp assistants. Each assistant belongs to one Team and has exactly one channel.

Before you start

A confirmed creator account and a current administrative session.

Steps

  1. Open the panel Team/assistant selector and choose Manage Teams; select the relevant Team.
  2. Choose Rename next to the assistant.
  3. Enter the name and save.

Result

The administrative name is updated.

Limits and conditions

It does not automatically change the approved business identity customers see or its channel.

If you cannot continue

Refresh the view and check the server message. If the operation is unconfirmed, check its status before retrying.
